Where:
Turn South off the Arnhem Highway 7 kilmetre east of the South Alligator River or approx 30 km from Jabiru.
 
Features:

Mamukala is beautifull all year but it's most dramatic in the late dry season (Sept-Oct) when thousands of magpie geese congregate to feed. An obsveration platform allows you to view the birdlife while a mural isslistrates the seasonal changes that occur through the year. There is also a 3 Km walk adjent to the wetlands. Allow 1 to 2 hours for the full walk. Open all year round, entry is free.

Mamukala has wheelcahir access tracks but no toilets. Ref: KNP-VG
